how a run works
The Adaptive Run Engine learns how you run and picks the music to match — health-led, not just tempo-led. The music works with the body, not against it.
connect your music
Apple Music or YouTube Music, with Amazon Music on the way. Your own library, your own saved tracks — nothing new to buy.
pick today's session
An easy run, intervals, a long steady effort or a race. The session decides the shape of the work.
run, the music follows
Stridient reads your heart rate, cadence and stride and keeps you in the zone the session wants — not pushed out of it.
what's in the app
zone-matched music
The track playing is chosen to hold you where the session wants you. Ease off and it settles; lift and it lifts with you.
cadence and stride
When your stride starts reaching, the music nudges you back to a rhythm you can hold.
voice coaching and race mode
Live pacing in your ear, plus race mode and speed builder for the sessions that need a target.
terrain-aware pacing
Hills and rough ground change what an honest effort looks like. Stridient paces you for the ground under you.
plans that respect recovery
Each morning it suggests go, ease or rest. It is a suggestion — you can always train anyway.
form and training load
Acute-to-chronic workload ratio, tracked run to run, so a good week doesn't quietly become an injury.
apple health and your watch
Runs, heart rate and workouts sync both ways, so the rest of your training picture stays intact.
train together
Runners of different abilities complete the same session, each at their own correct effort, with music matched to their own zones. Participation over performance.
shared sessions
Same workout, every runner’s music matched to their own zones.
live and ghost racing
Race a friend now, or their past run.
challenges
Distance, consistency, zone discipline, cadence improvement.
clubs
Run clubs, gym cohorts, corporate teams, coach rosters.
leaderboards
Consistency and improvement ranked alongside pace — showing up counts.
training partners
Matched by pace, location, goal and schedule.
coaches
Deliver sessions to a roster, each runner at their own effort.
map & wrap my run
Post-run share card: your route with every track placed where it played.
Community features arrive across the launch window.
works with
the music is yours. the tempo data is ours.
1.75 million tracks with tempo, keyed by ISRC and built from open sources — not licensed from any platform. It works the same whichever service you use, and it grows every time a runner taps the beat.
spotify — opens at scale
It’s built, tested and ready to go. Spotify opens platform access to apps once they’ve grown into it — the one part we can’t do on our own. Every runner who joins brings it closer. The day they say yes, it’s on.

built by a runner who came back from five knee surgeries.
Gabriella Sugarman, founder, London. After five knee operations — the last in September 2025 — I rebuilt from zero to a 27-minute 5K between January and March 2026 by syncing every run to music and heart-rate zones. Stridient is the app I had to build for myself first.

January to March 2026. Rebuilt from nothing, run by run.
5K by March 2026. Every session matched to zone and cadence.

questions
the short answers, so nothing gets lost in translation.
